We painted it our favorite Yellow, distressed it and glazed it. I think it turned out really well and I am proud of it.

I have this EXACT same hutch. Paid $25 for it after selling our HUGE antique hutch (that surprisingly held less, but was definitely more beautiful) for $300. This size fits our house better, but I hate the look of it. I decided yesterday I am going to paint it yellow and low and behold I came across your post! Thanks for going on before me with wonderful project. I'm not a furniture DIYer, but I have big aspirations. I hope mine looks half as good as yours!
