Some See A Wish

I saw this on Pinterest and loved the saying.

Then I found this blog  ourlittlecoop  with this picture

           

They also have the picture of the saying I wanted to use.

I thought I could combine them and use Aqua as the background color.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the words, and free handed the dandelion with its little seed pods flying away.  

Hutch Oddities

This is a hutch we found at a thrift store in South Carolina.  I thought it was unusual and Odd as it had drawers at the bottom instead of above the doors.  I had never seen that kind of placement before.  One of the bottom doors was badly damaged but Mr. Sensible fixed that right up.

  

Here it is one on top of the other with out the doors or drawers.

A beautiful fall day to be outside spraying furniture.

All painted and back inside.

I hand painted the inside of the hutch in Annie Sloan Old Ochre to give it some contrast I thought it would look nice with some ironstone in there.

Decorative Mirror Restyled

We were given this mirror from our neighbor.  

If you look closely at the top right some of the decorative trim is broken.  Mr. Sensible took it and cut off the other side and made it straight across.  

Then we turned it over and made the top the bottom.....follow me?

I painted it with Anne Sloan French Linen, distressed it  and waxed it with clear and dark wax.

We found a small console table and painted that to match.
