Very Old Chest
This piece was a client piece. It is really old, and very chippy in lots of areas.
Someone had tried to do some different colors on it and some distressing on it….. It needed just a bit of help.
I painted it my favorite color Crisp Linen from Sherwin Williams and Lenox Tan from Benjamin Moore.
Here you can see some of the chippy goodness. I waxed the piece with clear then used the dark wax on it. The dark wax fell into all those areas and made it look very old again. Just what I wanted.
I distressed it a bit on all the edges some of that green is peeking through again.
I really love the way these two colors go together.
That's all for now
Have a great week.
